Ministry of Teas Organic China White Tea is cultivated from the Baimudan Tea variety which is found in the Fujian province of China and is considered to be amongst the highest grades of White Tea available.
White Tea is the uncured and unoxidised tea leaf, which, when compared with Green Tea, has a higher anti -oxidant count and has been reported to contain more Gallic Acid, Theobromine and the amino acid Theanine which all contribute to the immune boosting, relaxing and mood enhancing properties. This Fine White Tea is gathered in spring from young leaves and buds which are lightly steamed and sun dried. This method of harvesting results in the freshest leaves and the highest concentration of polyphenols.
